Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach is located at 15 Joseph Drive, just off Mosley Street near Highway 26 and only a short drive from the shoreline. Our gaming space is around 25,000 square feet. It is not a resort-style complex, but it is large enough to feel active without being overwhelming.

On the floor you will find over 231 slot machines alongside electronic table games. That mix is really where we focus our attention and where the property performs best. We do not offer a poker room or any live dealer tables, so if you are looking specifically for live-dealt games, this is not the right property. For guests who prefer slots and e-tables however, the layout is straightforward and easy to move through.

Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach operates under the OLG framework. OLG owns the gaming assets while Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited manages daily operations as the licensed operator for the Central Gaming Bundle. We keep a consistent schedule through the week. From Sunday to Thursday the casino opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 2:00 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, we still open at 10:00 a.m., but stay open later until 4:00 a.m. You do not need a reservation to enter during regular operating hours.

We provide free on-site parking, and the building has full wheelchair access. It is worth knowing this in advance if you are coordinating a group visit or travelling with mobility considerations.

During daytime and early evening meal periods, the restaurant operates as a family-friendly space. Later at night, especially Friday and Saturday, the room becomes livelier and more focused on the bar and entertainment side. MATCH usually closes ahead of the casino, often around midnight to 1:00 a.m. depending on the night, so if you are planning a late gaming session it is a good idea to have dinner earlier in the evening.

Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach opened its doors in November 2022, with an official grand opening ceremony following on January 27, 2023. The project represented an investment of roughly C$34.3 million and created around 140 jobs at the time of launch. The casino occupies previously undeveloped land and has grown into one of the commercial anchors for the immediate area.

Within Gateway’s overall portfolio, the Playtime Casino name is used for smaller, community-focused locations. Wasaga Beach fits that profile. It is not built as a resort or large destination complex. Our focus is on being a neighbourhood-style casino, serving both local residents and visitors who come to the beach and surrounding region.

Gateway manages 31 properties nationwide, with a head office based at 4331 Dominion Street in Burnaby, British Columbia. OLG, meanwhile, retains ownership of the gaming assets on site and manages host community revenue payments to the Town of Wasaga Beach. Those payments are calculated on a tiered structure tied to slot revenue.
